Q: Is this charger compatible with my existing LiFePO4 battery? In most cases, yes. The charger is compatible with any 48V LiFePO4 battery pack from 100Ah to 600Ah. It communicates with the battery BMS via CAN 2.0B or RS485. If your BMS uses a proprietary protocol, please share the protocol documentation and our engineering team will configure the charger accordingly — included for orders of 5 units or more.
Q: Can I use this to replace my existing lead-acid charger? Yes, but a direct swap is not recommended without changing the charger. Lead-acid chargers use a different algorithm (including an equalization/desulfation stage) that is harmful to lithium cells. Our charger uses a lithium-specific CC/CV algorithm. The connector can be matched to your existing setup — please specify your current connector type when inquiring.
Q: What certifications are included? Can I get documentation for customs? Every unit ships with a CE Declaration of Conformity. UL listing certificate, FCC ID documentation, RoHS compliance declaration, and UN38.3 transport test summary are available on request — suitable for import compliance, customs clearance, and corporate procurement requirements, at no extra charge.
